Short biography

Hilary Guise was born in the wine lands of the Cape Province, South Africa and lives (part time) among the wine domains of Provence. She was educated as an artist and art historian at St. Martin's school of art London, with post-graduate research degrees from University College London. She has worked throughout the UK both for the University of Cambridge and other universities. She lectures in the National Gallery London and in the USA she has toured widely, also lecturing for the Smithsonian Institute, Washington DC. She returns to South Africa with a lecture tour in May.

This is an adventure in the history of Wine in Art and brings together her two life long passions for the first time.
